Norilsk Nickel increased copper production

Consolidated copper production of Norilsk Nickel increased 0.6% q-o-q to 93 thousand tonnes in 4Q13. In 2013, Norilsk Nickel beat annual production guidance with 371 thousand tonnes of copper output, up 2% year -on-year.

This growth was mainly attributed to an increase in the volume of cuprous ores mined and processed by the Russian operations and a new contract for the sale of copper cake by Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta.
