Vyksa Steel announces H1 2013 operating results

Vyksa Steel Works produced over 790,000 tonnr of pipes of different standard sizes, 390,000 railway wheels and 278,000 tonne of flat products in H1 2013.

In the reporting period of 2013, pipe production volume soared 20% YoY. LDP production amounted to 403,600 tonne, a 33% growth YoY.

In H1 2013, railway wheel production declined 7% YoY, which is due to the scheduled major repairs in the VSW wheel rolling workshop that took place this March.

In June 2013, VSW produced 136,000 tonne of pipe products, which is a 48% growth YoY. LDP production increased by 64% to 74,000 tonne.

Besides, VSW produced 60,000 tons of broad flat products.
