MMC Norilsk Nickel (hereinafter, “MMC Norilsk Nickel” or “the Company”) announces that today, the Company commemorates the first anniversary of Yenisey ARC7 ice-class tanker’s sea-going.

Sailing under Russian flag, Yenisey tanker takes freights on the following directions: Arkhangelsk – Dudinka, transporting oil products to satisfy the needs of Norilsk Industrial District (summer/winter/arctic diesel fuel and aviation kerosene); Dudinka – European ports, ensuring export supplies of gas condensate from Pelyatka gas condensate deposit developed by the Company, to Europe.

During Dudinka freight-free periods, the vessel sails in the open freight market, transporting various light oils (petrol, kerosene, gas condensate, a range of diesel fuels).

According to Deputy General Director - Head of Commodity Transport and Logistics Business Unit of MMC Norilsk Nickel Mr. Sergey Buzov, "MMC Norilsk Nickel makes an enormous contribution to Northern Sea Route shipping development by operating the modern Arctic tanker in the Arctic under Russian flag to ensure the transportation of the Company and other owner’s freights. Making part of the Company’s fleet last year, Yenisey tanker guaranteed a steady year-round delivery of oil products to the Norilsk Industrial District and ensuring the existing export supplies of gas condensate to Europe.
