Severstal to supply rolled products for manufacturing of Beko and Vestel household appliances

Cherepovets Steel Mill, one of the world’s largest integrated steel plants (part of Severstal Russian Steel Division) expands its cooperation with producers of household appliances.

For the first time Severstal signed a quarterly agreement with Beko for the delivery of cold-rolled products to produce household appliances.

Besides, the Company got an approval from VESTEL and a positive conclusion from its office in Turkey for the batch of cold-rolled products grade DC03 to manufacture washing machines. The first pilot batch is earmarked for delivery to the client’s plant in Turkey in October. Also under consideration is the pilot delivery of the analogue rolled products for refrigerators.

Severstal has restarted delivery of cold-rolled products for Biryusa refrigerators, with new specifications being prepared to meet clients’ requirements for quality. Severstal’s rolled products are used to make the refrigerator bodies.
