Rusal appointment new commercial director

UC Rusal announced the appointment of Evgeny Ovchinnikov as Commercial Director of UC Rusal.

Evgeny Ovchinnikov has been working for UC Rusal for over ten years, since April 2010 as the Director of By-products Sales Department in Commercial Directorate of Rusal.

As Commercial Director, Evgeny Ovchinnikov will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted supply process within the company and optimization of costs for the procurement of raw materials and services for the transportation of raw materials and finished products. His will be also responsible for the effective decision-making in sales of by-products with the aim to maximize profits and to form transparent reporting system, as well as for overall by-products sales management.

This appointment follows the transfer of Pavel Ovchinnikov who previously held the position of UC  Rusal ’s Commercial Director to a new managerial post in Basic Element.
