METALLOINVEST re-elects the Board of Directors

METALLOINVEST, a leading global iron ore and HBI producer based in Russia, announces re-election of the Board of Directors.

METALLOINVEST’s re-elected Board of Directors comprises the following members:

Farhad Moshiri; Ken Сosta; Vadim Levin; Nikolai Krylov; Andrey Varichev;

Pavel Mitrofanov; Yuriy Nadeev; Eduard Potapov; Andrey Prosyanik;

Andrey Ugarov; Sergey Shuvalov; Nazim Efendiev

Three independent Directors were elected to the Board: Ken Costa, Vadim Levin and Nikolai Krylov. Farhad Moshiri was re-elected as Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Moshiri comments on election of Ken Costa and Vadim Levin to the Board of directors:

Ken brings enormous experience as an investment banker whose significant M&A experience will be very useful for METALLOINVEST. Likewise Vadim has a distinguished career, having worked in leadership positions for a number of leading Russian financial institutions over 15 years. With such extensive experience, I am confident that Ken and Vadim will make a great contribution to the Board and enhance the already high standards of corporate governance of our Company.”

Ken Costa

Mr. Costa was born in 1949. 1968-1972 - read Law and Philosophy at Witwatersand University in South Africa.1974-1976 - obtained the Masters of Law Degree and the Certificate in Theology at Queens' College, Cambridge. 1976 - joined SG Warburg & Co Ltd and remained with its successor firms SBC Warburg and UBS Warburg. 2007-2011 - Chairman of Lazard International. Previously - Chairman, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Vice Chairman of UBS Investment Bank, and a member of the Board of the UBS Investment Bank. At UBS Investment Bank, he was Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Vadim Levin
Mr. Levin was born in 1963. In 1985 he graduated Leningrad Institute of Economics & Finance.
In 1988 became a candidate of Science (Economics). In 1988-1994 – assistant, Department of Economics at Leningrad Institute of Economics & Finance. In 1994-1995 – associate professor, Department of Economics at St-Petersburg University of Economics & Finance. In 1994-1997 occupied several managing positions in St-Petersburg branch of Bank Imperial. D 1997-2002 – First deputy CEO and a member of Board of Directors at Vnesheconombank. In 2002-2009 – First deputy CEO - Chairman of the Management Board at VTB Bank.
