Production of titanium: growth and decrease at the same time

According to the Federal Statistics State Service, the production of the unprocessed titanium increased by 31% in September, reaching the same level (same month) last year. Whereas, semi-finished products on its base, such as wires, rods and profiles, increased by 28.4%. However, in comparison with August 2011 the production of unprocessed titanium decreased by 5.9% and titanium semi-finished products by 23.9%.

In the first nine months of 2011, the production of unprocessed titanium increased by 35.2% and titanium semi-products by 17.4%.
