En + Group has opened permanent train traffic across the bridge over the river Abakan in Hakassia

En + Group, a leading Russian diversified industrial group, has opened a permanent train operation on the railway bridge over the river Abakan in The Askizsky region of Hakassia.

The bridge is a part of a 60-kilometer railway line En +, linking the industrial and mining enterprises of The Republic of Khakassia with the Trans-Siberian Railway. The length of the bridge is 450 m.

En + total investment in reconstruction of the bridge amounted to 442 million rubles, including 142 million rubles, which were invested in the construction of a temporary bridge. In the future the company plans to invest another 300 million rubles on additional measures to strengthen the bridge structure and improve its reliability.

“The reconstruction project of the railway bridge, which was implemented in the shortest period possible, was the first EPCM-project for En + Logistics. We intend to develop EPCM-line and participate in new infrastructure development projects for East Siberia”, - said Deputy General Director of En + Group, General Director of En + Logistics Rashad Huseynov.
