IZ-KARTEX completes delivery of four electric shovels
IZ-KARTEX, a part of OMZ Group, will complete this August a number of deliveries of mining equipment to Sibirsky Antracit, Stoylensk mining and processing plant and Kazakhstan company TOO Bogatyr Komir.

According to the contract with Sibirsky Antracit, in 2011 IZ-KARTEX has manufactured and delivered an EKG-10 electric shovel. The equipment assembly will start in the beginning of September 2011 and will be conducted by OMZ-Gortekhmash-Servis.

In the nearest future IZ-KARTEX specialists will start the assembly of EKG-15 electric shovel with a new 18 m3 scoop at Bogatyr Komir, the largest coal mine in the CIS, in Kazakhstan. This is the first electric shovel from Izhora to be shipped to Bogatyr Komir in the past 20 years.

Besides, in the beginning of September IZ-KARTEX specialists will start assembling two EKG-15M electric shovels at Stoylensk mining and processing plant. EKG-15M is a version of the series-built EKG-15 electric shovel adapted for iron mining. It is equipped with hoist gear with increased life cycle, reinforced undercarriage, modular structure and new, more effective filters.
