TMK premium connections receive another ISO 13679 CAL IV certification

TMK’s American division – TMK IPSCO successfully completed qualification tests of Premium threaded connections ULTRA-QX in accordance with ISO 13679 CAL IV standard.

Premium connections ULTRA-QX exhibit high tensile and compression strength, high ability to bend, and resistance to other unfavorable outside factors.

“Certification of ULTRA-QX connections according to the international ISO 13679 CAL IV standard was realized as part of the Program on Development and Testing of TMK Premium Connections. One month ago ISO 13679 CAL IV certification was awarded to TMK PF connections developed in Russia,” said Alexander Shiryaev, TMK CEO. “The company sets a goal to become one of the leaders in the premium segment of the global pipe market. Today TMK has capacity to produce premium pipe products at the company’s Russian plants, American facilities of TMK IPSCO and TMK-Kaztrubprom in Kazakhstan. We are also expanding our international network of licensees in order to be closer to the consumer.”
