Intergeo plans to build a non-ferrous smelter in Krasnoyarsk region
Intergeo Company, a subsidary of Onexim Group intends to build metal smelter in the  Krasnoyarsk region. The raw materials will be supplied from the Kingashs copper-nickel deposit located in the Krasnoyarsk region as well.

According to Grigory Potapov, Director General of Intergeo, the company searches for a suitable platform for the future plant. It is impossible to builtd the plant in an immediate proximity from the deposit fue to lack of of  necessary power capacities.

In this connection building of  the smelter near Krasnoyarsk or one of the nearby cities is considered. The plant will be commissioned simultaneously with commissioning of mining and processing complex - in 2016.

«The project of smelter in Krasnoyarsk region can be realized if it is provided by energy. Besides, it will be necessary to provide reliable transportation of raw materials and qualified personnel», Leonid Khazanov, the observer of Metal Supply and Sale Magazine, told.
