Izhorskiye Zavody sign contract with Mostostroitelniy Otryad #19 on production of metal structures for the Western Speedway

OAO Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, have signed a contract with OAO Mostostroitelniy Otryad #19 on the delivery of metal structures to be used for the construction of an overpass at Primorskiy avenue (main section) for the Western Speedway.

Mostostroitelniy Otryad #19 is the main contractor for the first, third, firth and two sections of the second stages of the Western Speedway.

According to the terms of the contract Izhorskiye Zavody will manufacture the metal structures for the spans, including blocks, cross beams and consoles. Total weight of the structures amounts to approximately 2283 tons.

The contract is to be completed by July 2011.

The Western Speedway is a partially built highway in St. Petersburg. The highway will link the Big Post of St. Petersburg and the city’s key transport avenues with the Baltic States, Scandinavian countries and the Russian regions.
