Norilsk Nickel intends to dip into ferrous metallurgy

The complex will be equipped with modern units: the electroarc furnace, «ladle-furnace» installation for extraoven steel processing, the continuous steel casting machine etc. All these units will be set up in one of Mechanical palnts. The capacity of the complex will make to 30 thousand tons grinding spheres in a year.

Preliminary project cost is estimated approximately at 30 million euro.
