Izhorskiye Zavody sign a contract for production of metal highway bridge structures with Vozrozhdeniye group

Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, has signed a contract with ZAO PO Vozrozhdeniye for the delivery of bridge metal structures used for highway construction. The structures manufactured by Izhorskiye Zavody will be used in the construction of the third stage of the Western highway diameter, from the transport interchange on the intersection with Bogatyrsky Avenue to the transport interchange on the intersection with E-18 Scandinavia highway.

The bridge metal structures are heavy beams of 9 to 12 m length and 32 to 45 tons weight each.

Overall weight of the metal structures amounts to 1480 tons.

The contract is to be completed by November 2010.

This is not the first contract between Izhorskiye Zavody and ZAO PO Vozrozhdeniye; this year the company has already manufactured and shipped the metal structures for the reconstruction of M-20 St. Petersburg – Kiev highway neat the Volkhonskoye highway.
