A new US manufactured bench testing unit, the only one of its type in Russia, has been installed at OOO Teci Rus

The new unit is also of the sling and wire rope manufacturing process and can also be used for testing steel wire rope for aggregate breakage, a required procedure to ensure the quality of products. The core component of the new metal unit has a length of 12 meters, and has hydraulic equipment, an automatic control unit and computer software. The size and capacity of the equipment enables it to carry out extension tests and tensile strength tests with applied force up to 158 tonnes The standard capacity of similar units used in Russia does not exceed 100 tonnes.

A major advantage of the new unit is its computer equipment which is used to register the entire testing process and automatically create a certificate verifying the test results. The Company has already carried out the first industrial tests and issued the first certificates to customers. The test results have encouraged experts as many products manufactured by Teci Rus have managed to withstand much higher loads than was previously assumed. According to Anatoly Frishman, the Company's CEO, the new equipment will enable Teci Rus to achieve a new level of service and provide an official certificate of the product's quality to its customers.
