Norilsk Nickel paid out dividends for 2009 in amount of USD 1.325 Bln

OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel («MMC Norilsk Nickel» or «the Company») announces that payment of dividends in the total amount approved by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders («AGM») was completed on June 28, 2010. As stated in the AGM resolution, 2009 dividend payable to the Company’s shareholders will be RUB 210 per share. Dividend payments totaled USD 1.325 bln. or 50% of MMC Norilsk Nickel’s net profit calculated in compliance with IFRS. By August 27, 2010 dividend payout was fully completed in accordance with the effective law and the resolution of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
