Casting and Rolling Plant, United Metallurgical Company output 110kt in May

For the first time since its launching the Casting and Rolling Plant, United Metallurgical Company (OMK) output more than 90kt of hot-rolled coils and more that 20kt of flats in May 2010. The May production program has been fulfilled 102%.
Finished products dispatch volume reached 91 836t in May. The major part of products has been dispatched to Vyksa Steel Works (part of OMK), the main consumer of the Casting and Rolling Plants’ products and exported. The delivery program has been fulfilled 101%.
The Casting and Rolling Plant plans to output more than 1Mt and master 7 new steel grades in 2010.
