Uralelectromed increases producing of refined copper

Uralelectromed is going to increase producing of refined copper this year.“It is scheduled to manufacture up to 355 thousand tones of refined copper. Accordingly supplies of raw materials are planned in extended range. There is the task to increase the production of copper”, - said told Vladimir Kolotushkin, Director of Uralelectromed.

In addition according to Kolotushkin capital investmens are planned in sum exceeding 2 bl.rub. Half of them will be spent for construction of new workshop of copper electrolysis. This year construction of workshop’s building should be completed, assembling of main technological equipment will be began. The commissioning dates for 1 st stage of the new workshop is 2011 year.

Uralelectromed is a leading enterprise of UGMK. Last year it produced 330 thousand tones of refined copper.
