Steel and rolled products output in Russia tends to grow

According to Russian Federal State Statistics Service, in 2009 steel production in Russia fell by 13.9% reaching 59.2 mln tons as compared to 2008. In December 2009 steel production grew by 55.1%, compared to December 2008 and by 1.6% compared to November 2009.
Ferrous rolled products output in 2009 fell by 10.3% reaching 50.8 mln tons. In December 2009 rolled products output increased by 46.5% compared to December 2008 and by 6.8% compared to November 2009.
Steel tubes output in 2009 reached 6.7 mln tons (-14.4%). In December 2009 steel tubes production grew by 72.8% compared to December 2008 and by 24.2% compared to November 2009.
Steel structures manufacture in fell by 8.4% reaching 1.5 mln tons. In December 2009 steel structures manufacture grew by 19.1% compared to December 2008 and fell by 30.8% compared to November 2009.
Iron ore production in 2009 fell by 8.1% reaching 92 mln tons. In December 2009 iron ore production grew by 69.2% compared to December 2008 and by 1.3% compared to November 2008.
In 2009 coke production reached 27.4 mln tons (- 14.5% compared to 2008). In December 2009 coke production grew by 60.1% compared to December 2008 and by 4.6% compared to November 2009.
