Hatch to develop cooperation with Russian mills

Hatch, a Canadian company specializing in engineering and projects management in metal and steel complex plans to extend its presence in Russia. This was announced at the press-conference held on October 8.
According to Kurt Strobele, head of Hatch, besides Canada, the company has its representative offices in the USA, Latin America, Africa, Australia, and Asia which makes it possible to carry out projects all over the world. Andrey Torgashev, Director General, Hatch in Russia and the CIS, although the company has been operating in the Russian market for more than 20 years, only recently a decision has been made to establish here a full-fledged company dealing with projects management.
Although due to the world economic recession many Hatch projects in Russia have been suspended, Hatch plans to develop and if possible, extend partnership with Russian mettalurgical holdings.
