Le Bourget: we’ve had a good run

“We will get along!” – this is how Oleg Leder, Sales and Marketing Director, summarized the outcome of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation representatives work at Le Bourget - 2009.

The planned arrangements were realized and all meetings held. During the air show everybody respectfully called the manufacture of unique titanium products as “THE VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation”, and this very Corporation has demonstrated stability under the present difficult economic conditions and proved its authority in the world’s professional community. Nothing unexpected and extreme happened. And this is good.

Reports about results of the Company’s work at the air show were replaced by Federal Mass Media messages: “Strong demand for Russian helicopters continues growing...”, “Boeing and Airbus, world aircraft building companies, sign contracts in Le Bourget”, “Russian Space Agency and European Space Agency have entered into agreement on cooperation”, “Le Bourget air show has demonstrated that Russian aeronautical engineering and air defense facilities are in stable demand all over the world”, “Le Bourget air show has proved strengthening of Russian aviation industry”, “Air show in Paris suburbs has demonstrated that Russia’s positions in the market of armour export are still strong despite the crisis…”, “Prime first night of the air show – Russian aircraft “Sukhoi Superjet-100” – as the saying is, hovered about the sky over Le Bourget…”
