NLMK recognized as best Russian exporter

NLMK has been recognized as “Best Exporter in Industry” by the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade in the 2008 Best Russian Exporters competition.

The competition was held as part of the State support programme for industrial products export. The winners were determined by the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade based on an assessment of documents submitted by the companies and indices of consolidated export reports.

In 2008, NLMK’s export of products manufactured at its main site in Lipetsk accounted for $ 4.9 bln (including CIS countries). The Company exported nine types of metal products to over 50 countries around the world. All data refers to the main production site at Lipetsk performance in 2008.
