ChTPZ Group to Supply 1000 tn of pipes to Transneft for Pump Stations Maintenance until November 2009

ChTPZ Group will supply pipes for Transneft pump stations and oil storage tank farms reconstruction and maintenance from April to November, 2009. 
Under the contract the oil company will receive about 1000 tons of pipes Ø 57-426 mm produced by Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant (ChTPZ, Chelyabinsk, Russia) (RTS: CHEP) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, Russia).
Partnership with the fuel and energy complex remains paramount objective for ChTPZ Group and defines operational strategy for the pipe companies in the existing market environment.
In 2009 the company expects to participate in large-scale domestic pipeline projects – construction of the second line of the Baltic pipeline systems (Transneft) and Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline (Gazprom).
