Putin has formed a governmental committee for steel complex

According to government press service, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree about establishment of the governmental commission for metallurgical complex development.

For record, on January 27, 2009 the Government adopted a decree about establishment of a government commission for development of metallurgical complex. In accordance with the Commission, it’s an executive body, which coordinates actions of the executive branch to pursue state policy in the industry. One of the Commission’s objectives was «the development of the main directions of improving the legal regulation of the metallurgical complex, raw materials markets and steel products». The Commission’s function will also include «the preparation of agreed proposals of priority issues development » industry. The commission will consist of representatives of relevant departments, approved by the Government of Russian Federation, the chairman will be one of the vice-premiers. Meetings will be held at least every quarter.
