“The management company tries to consider all the factors which can affect the holding’s competitiveness. Expansion of mining and metallurgical divisions’ production demands appropriate infrastructure and such projects are indispensable condition for stable growth. A new depot is also of social value as it enables to create 530 additional workplaces”, Metalloinvest CEO Maxim Gubiev says.
Metalloinvesttras operates the stock of 7 139 rolling equipment units with 70 m tpy freight turnover. According to the company expansion program the rolling equipment stock will be enlarged up to 9 000 units by 2010; it will cause growth of maintenance works and will require own repair facilities.
