ChTPZ Group Ferrous Division Ships 415.9 Thousand Tn of Products to Customers in January through March 2008

Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant shipped 415.9 thousand tn of pipe products to customers in the first three months of 2008, a decrease of 11% as compared to the same period of 2007 (467.3 thousand tn).

January through March 2008, Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant shipped 219.2 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, 14% less than for the same period of 2007 (255.3 thousand tn). For this period the plant shipped 108.6 thousand tn of large-diameter pipes, 25% less than for the first three months of 2007 (145 thousand tn).

In March 2008 ChTPZ shipped 84.7 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, a decrease of 8% as compared to March 2007 (91.7 thousand tn). The plant shipped 37.8 thousand tn of large-diameter pipes in March, 22% less than for the same month a year ago (48.2 thousand tn).

In March 2008 PNTZ shipped 74.4 thousand tn of pipe products to its customers, a decrease of 4% as compared to March 2007 (77.4 thousand tn). Since the year beginning the plant shipped 196.7 thousand tn, 7% less than for the same period a year ago (212 thousand tn).
