MK Uralmash ships the second trestle crane for Kudankulam NPP in India
Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation (MK Uralmash) has shipped the second trestle crane for Kudankulam NPP (India). Earlier, the company shipped two polar cranes, one fresh fuel storage crane, and the first trestle crane - in May 2006, for this nuclear power plant. All equipment was manufactured at Uralmashplant.
Assembly and acceptance of the second trestle crane started in July 2007. Trial assembly was successfully carried out in October.
Uralmashplant also manufactures two refueling machines, it is the only Russian enterprise capable to produce such equipment.
Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation is one of the leaders in the Russian market of metallurgical, mining, oil- and gas-producing industrial equipment, as well as the equipment for construction-materials industry and power industry.
