Karabashmed has Entered into Second Stage of Modernization
Basing on Ausmet technology Karabashmed has entered into second stage of modernization and extending of production. The second stage includes building of the second sulfur plant and the second oxygen station before 2011. The project also includes building of the second stockyard and an additional channel of raw materials charge of Ausmelt furnace, four 160-ton converters as well as setting up of two 100-ton cranes.
