Norilsk Nickel will Increase Output
By experts’ estimations in 2008 value of Norilsk Nickel shares will continue increase. According to IFC Metropol, today fair value of the shares reaches $340.4 per a share and the value increase potential is expected 28% against the present value.

Analyst assume that the recent buying of OMG Nickel and LionOre will enable the company to increase nickel output to 299 thou tons. Thus, Norilsk Nickel plans to increase output of OMG Nickel Harjavalta to 60 thou tons in 2008 against 33 thou tons in 2007.

An annual output of LionOre, another recently bought company is expected to increase from 34 thou tons in 2006 to 63.5 thou tons in 2012. Thus, the total output of Norilsk Nickel in the period from 2007 to 2012 will grow by 15%. This will cause increase in the profit as well.

Besides these transactions, Norilsk Nickel will be able to use Activox technology. In case of its successful application, the technology will enable to increase nickel extraction from laterite ores 2 times which will make Norilsk Nickel one of the leaders in the segment of the market.
