Mechel has Summed up 2007 Production Results

In 2007 rolled products output reached 5.137 mln tons (9% up), flats – 393 thou tons (2% down), long products – 3.04 mln tons (20% up), marketable billets – 1.7 mln tons (5% down).

Last year coal excavation reached 21.2 mln tons (25% up), including: coking coal – 10.4 mln tons (7% up), power coal – 10.8 mln tons (47% up). Iron ore concentrate remained as in 2006 – 4.96 mln tons.
