MMK has Put into Operation a New Horizontal Boring Machine
A new horizontal boring machine was put into operation at the mechanical plant of MMK Repairing Complex. The new machine was substituted for an old machine # 58 which had been operated at the mechanical plant for 45 years. The new machine produced by Novosibirsk Heavy Machine Tool and Hydraulics Plant enables to achieve a high accuracy while machining big parts which will bring in new orders and increase productivity. Milling, drilling, boring, and many other operations can be performed on the new machine # 58 with the highest accuracy. The number of the new machine has been kept the same as in memory of the old one. The parts machined on it are required by the MMK sister companies as well as other companies. Mr. V. Zabrodsky, Head of MMK Repairing Complex said it was a precious purchase to the plant.
