UC RUSAL announces its intention to buy 2% of Norilsk Nickel from KM-Invest

UC RUSAL announces its intention to buy 2% stake in Norilsk Nickel from KM-Invest. The official letter stating UC RUSAL’s intention to buy 2% stake in Norilsk Nickel was sent to CEO of KM-Invest on 24 December 2007.

On 19 December 2007 the Board of Directors of KM-Invest made the decision to sell up to 2% of its stake in Norilsk Nickel.

The agreement on UC RUSAL to purchase a 25% plus one share interest in Norilsk Nickel from ONEXIM Group came into effect on 21 December.
