Tube Works VSMPO-AVISMA for 9 months of 2007

For 9 months 2007 the enterprise has produced 218,8 tn of titanium tubular production (365,3 thousand meters), 177,7 tn of which (363,6 thousand meters) are seamless cold-finished tubes and 41,5 tn (1,7 thousand meters) are seamless hot-finished tubes (in co-operation with JSC «Nikopol Tube Company»).

Comparing to the same period of the last year the growth in tons equals 1,8 times more (9 months of 2006 - 120,8 tn), and in meters 2,5 times more (9 months of 2006 – 143,3 thousand meters).

In third quarter the enterprise produced quite large scope of work on certification of fabricated products:

«Lloyd Register» has conducted certification of tubes from titanium alloys Grade 2 (confirmation of production conformance);
In August of this year CJSC «Tube Works VSMPO-AVISMA» passed certification of ACHILLES to receive the status of «supplier» for the oil extraction business on shelf zones of the ocean.

In June works was included by VdTUV to the List (catalogue) of major suppliers of titanium production.
