VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will Participate in the International Air Show MAKS-2007
The particular feature of this Air Show is that for the first time many Russian aircraft-building companies will appear under the aegis of the United Aircraft-Building Corporation, which will demonstrate all the latest achievements of the Russian aircraft-building industry. All aircraft equipment exhibited at the Air Show will contain titanium produced by VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.
At MAKS Air Show, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will for the first time in Russia represent the world’s largest titanium die-forging for the world’s largest European aircraft А380 and titanium die-forging for the American Dreamliner В787. Both parts will be used in the aircraft landing –gear. These parts were exhibited only at foreign air shows before.
The Company will also represent the samples of machined die-forgings, which is the promising line of the Company’s activity.
