Norilsk Nickel, the world's largest producer of nickel and palladium, is in talks with banks over crediting for $1.5 bln, repots Finam.ru.
Since Nornickel did not expect that it had to redeem 19.5% shares of WGC-3 for $1.6 bln, it borrows money for these unforeseen expenses. Soon the company will have to be spent a certain amount on OGK-3 shares, for it has promised to make an offer to redeem shares from minority shareholders of OGK-3 at the price not lower than the price it paid for extra emission - 4.54 rub.
