Net Profit of Russian Copper Company has Increased 4.4 Times up to $141.98 mln

According to IFRS preliminary estimations consolidated net profit of Russian Copper Company in 2006 equaled to $141.977 mln which is 4.4 more as compared to 2005 ($32.434 mln.)

The accounting income of Russian Copper Company has increased 1.8 times up to $1.034 bln from $571.396 mln, EBITDA - up to $309.34 mln from $107.92 mln while EBITDA profitability has increased up to 30% from 18.89%. In 2007 the company plans to increase the profit up to $170.1 mln, income - $1.2 bln, EBITDA - $393.89 mln. By 2010 net profit of Russian Copper Company may equal to $160.3 mln, income - $1.27 bln, EBITDA - $364.84 mln.

Russian Copper Company a big Russian copper producers ranks among top 3 biggest Russian producers. According to 2006 accounting year the company holds 18% of Russian copper cathodes market. The company produces 180,000 tons of copper cathodes and 105 thou t of copper rods per year. In 2006 enterprises of Russian Copper Company produced 164.1 thou t of cathode copper, which is 33% more as compared to 2005 (122,300 tons). Output of copper rods equaled to 100,330 tons (as compared to 86,480 tons).

Russian Copper Company holding incorporates 12 major producers in a vertically integrated production cycle with the main type of products being copper cathodes, rods, and precious metals. The enterprises of the holding are located in the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Novgorod, Orenburg, Aktyubinsk regions and in Kazakhstan.
