MMK Trading house received awards from Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers

The award ceremony for the annual competitions held by the Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers for metal trading companies took place following the close of the 27th International Conference “Russian Metal Market-2023”, held last week in Moscow. Denis Chernenko, Head of MMK’s Marketing and Technical Support Department, was in attendance.

MMK Trading House and its individual business divisions were once again among the winners at the event. The company’s Magnitogorsk division received a quality award in the competition for the title of “Best Metal Service Centre in Russia”, and its Nizhny Novgorod division was recognised as the best metal and steel warehouse in the Volga region in the competition for the title of “Best Metal and Steel Warehouse in Russia 2023”. MMK Trading House itself was recognised as one of the best nationwide retail networks in the metals industry.

The Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers holds three nationwide competitions every year: “Best Metal and Steel Warehouse in Russia”, “Best Metal Service Centre in Russia" and “Best Retail Network in Russia”. The main purpose of the competitions is to give Russian metals traders and processing companies an opportunity to showcase their achievements. The integration of state-of-the-art management tools, innovations and know-how in logistics, customer service, supply and sales divisions not only helps companies develop, but it also drives improvements in the overall market climate.
