Severstal designed new product

Severstal recommends using Steel Cashmere when strength and elasticity is required. For example, in the production of metal tiles, profiled sheeting, seam roofing, wall and roof sandwich panels, siding, facade cassettes, louvres and cases for electrical devices.

Steel Cashmere ‘GR’ (glide rain), a type of Steel Cashmere, is specially designed for drainage systems and has a 40 mkm polyurethane coating on both sides with a guaranteed thickness of 0.55 mm.

Steel Cashmere is available in the following colours: wine-red, light-blue, green moss, misty gray, chocolate brown and signal white.

For Steel Cashmere, Severstal guarantees the absence of rust-through corrosion for 25 years, the absence of the first signs of corrosion for 17 years and the preservation of decorative properties for at least 10 years. The warranty period will be extended after a full cycle of testing.

For Steel Cashmere GR, the company guarantees the absence of rust-through corrosion for 15 years and the preservation of decorative properties for five years.

Severstal’s range of steel products also includes ArmaNorma, A600 class rebars and galvanized sheet steel with polyurethane coating, and Steel Silk/Steel Velvet, which are specially designed for production of metal tiles.

As of 1 September 2015, the Steel Silk warranty covers roofing materials and sandwich panels, wall profiled sheeting, facade cassette and linear panels with a wider range of colours.
