CRC of OMK rose hot-rolled coils production by 10%

Casting and Rolling Complex (CRC, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK) produced 584,000 tons of hot-rolled coils, which is up 10% against a similar period last year. Using the rolled steel, the complex made 265,000 tons of strips and 30,000 tons of sheets.

“The increase in production volume is explained by a rising demand for CRC’s products from the pipe workshops of Vyksa Steel Works. It is our main consumer whose production capacity and order books have grown as compared to a previous period,” said Oleg Fedotov, CRC’s Director, commenting on the indicators.
