MMK has increased domestic supplies

The share of MMK domestic supplies in August 2010 reaches almost ¾ of the total rolled products supplies. The company’s last month export supplies exceeded 228k tons of steel products while the total output of marketable products exceeded 847k tons. Hence, the export share in the total supplies program of the works dropped to 26.9%. Reportedly, this the lowest export share record since July 2008. Over the first 8 months of 2010 MMK export supplies have (the CIS supplies excl.) reached 2 384.5k tons of steel products (34.9% in the total supplies). The main export regions remain Middle East and Europe.
