Copper output in Russia grew in July
Reportedly, Russian refined copper output in the first seven months of 2010 exceeded the production result of the corresponding period of 2009 by 12.4%. A higher growth is registered in copper semis and alloys production: wire production grew by 25.7%, flats: 39.1% up, and foil: 70.1% up! The only fall is registered in profiles production: 15% down. Refined copper production in July 2010 grew by 7.1%, copper wire: 13.2% up, flats: 4.2% up, foil: 3.1% up, yet rods and profiles productions fell by 0.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
