In January 2010 ChTPZ Group increased its shipments of pipes by 41%

In January 2010, the enterprises of ChTPZ Group - ChTPZ and PNTZ - shipped to consumers 95,8 thousand tons of pipes. It is by 40,9% more than in the same period 2009 (27.8 tonnes), reported the press-service of the company.
In January 2010, Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Works sold 52,7 thousand tons of pipes, the increasing in sales amounted to 24% as compared to the same period in 2009. Large-diameter pipes were shipped 35.6 thousand tonnes. It is by 19% more than in January last year (29.9 tonnes).
In January of this year PNTZ sold 43 thousand tons of tubes. It is by 69% more than in January last year (25.5 tonnes).
Increasing shipments of tubes by enterprises ChTPZ Group, as compared to the same period of last year, the company explained as the general improvement of the situation on the market as the launch projects of Transneft: BTS-2 and the VSTO-2.
