In the recent years the market of coated steels including galvanized and polymer coated steels has been growing consistently. However, despite the fact that in the recent 3-4 years the number of newly launched production facilities has increased more that twice, it is still not enough to meet the need of the ever growing domestic consumption.

Due to this, new facilities at Novolipets Iron and Steel Works, Kazan Steel Profiles Works and MMK were put into operation in 2008. If the world financial crisis does not badly affect the situation in the market, by 2010 additional facilities with the annual capacity of more 1.5 mln tn will be launched in Russia to meet the needs of the domestic market.

The conference will gather together heads and professionals of steel companies, steel service centers, mills producing further conversion products for construction, automotive industry, home appliances manufacture etc.
